Autumn Kenny (piano) has been studying piano since she was 3 years old. Now in her senior year at Friends Central, she is enjoying playing the piano more than ever. As a result, she is sharing her musical knowledge by teaching students and instilling her love and enthusiasm for the piano. Autumn continues to take piano lessons with Julia Chukinas working on advanced pieces and preparing for auditions at major universities. She performs at house parties, recitals, and occasional school assemblies. Her favorite things are the smaller moments of piano: the interpretation and flow of music incorporating dynamics, touch, and rhythm. She really enjoys playing at night for herself and feeling the emotion of intense melodies. Autumn wants to give her students a sense of enjoyment and excitement not only to play but feel the passion of music.
